Governance Training

Recently Governance training took place on Badu Island and the training was a huge success and well attended by members, traditional owners, Council of Elders and the Directors of Mura Badulgal (TSI) Corporation.

The training delivered over the 2 days was an Introduction into Corporate Governance and it was delivered by the Registrar Mr Anthony Bevan and Assistant Manager, Russell Styche from the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations. Luke Hocky from TSRA also provided support that week to the PBC.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Dear Badulgal,

Do you want to know more about governance or are you interested in becoming a Director?

Then we have a course for you!

Mura Badulgal (TSI) Corporation in partnership with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) invite interested BADULGAL to express their interest in the below course:

National Native Title Conference in Coffs Harbour

Chair, Peo Ahmat and Directors Manuel Nomoa and Charlotte Tamwoy recently travelled to Coffs Harbour to take part in the National Native Title Conference. Other PBC's from all over the country meet every year to discuss native title issues at a national level.

Following the transfer of the DOGIT, the Directors from Mura Badulgal (TSI) Corporation were invited to deliver a speech and talk more about their 'ilan home' Badu and share their journey in being the first community to have the DOGIT handed back to the people.
